Bean Drop is a bite-sized arcade game built with nothing but the HTML canvas and a little TypeScript. Beans fall, you catch them in your cup — but watch out for the 🐛 bugs. Catch a golden bean for a double-shot bonus.
How to play
- Desktop: move with your mouse, or the ← → / A D keys.
- Mobile: drag anywhere on the game.
- Each missed bean costs a life. Each bug costs a life. Three strikes and your cup runs dry.
Under the hood
The whole game is a single requestAnimationFrame loop with a fixed-timestep update, so it plays the same on a 60 Hz laptop and a 120 Hz phone. Your best score is saved locally in your browser.
